Built in load management

Loop’s UL 60730 certified Local Load Management (LLM) technology allows multiple charging stations to safely share the available eletrical capacity at a site.

This technology is built into the charging station and works with or without a network connection

Each charger is installed on its own dedicated full-size circuit breaker, ensuring maximum power output when load management isn’t required. Only when the combined demand reaches a set threshold does the system intelligently reduce individual charger output.

By installing two or more chargers on a single circuit breaker, charging power is automatically shared, either evenly or according to programmed settings, when multiple vehicles charge at once. For example, connecting two EV-Flex™ 32 Amp chargers to a dedicated 40 Amp breaker would allow each unit to draw 16 Amps when both are in use.
